
An Elixir - realigning 2011
Invalidenstraße: a junction between West and East – built in 13th century as an army road –renamed in 18th century as refuge for the invalids of two wars – over time, marked with imposing public buildings –
cut up by the Berlin wall – nowadays one of the busiest streets
Th elixir consists of 7 ingredients introduced by the 7 participants – the performance treats 7 sites along the Street of the Invalids like on a meridian – for the project MERIDIAN/URBAN (Haus der Kulturen der Welt).
