A Proper Place
2007
Site-specific installation at RYLLEGA Gallery, Hanoi
Varsha Nair and Jerome Ming in collaboration
In "A Proper Place" we have considered the immediate site of the Ryllega Gallery, it's proximity to the opera house and the intentional/unintentional backdrops the environs of the city present to us. Our collaboration explores the relationships of symbolism and correctness, and interplays with the concepts of three and two dimensional representations of some of the visible objects that are an integral part in this transforming city.
